Technical Writer

Responsibilities:

  • Set the list for needed documentation.
  • Design and prepare how to do documentation for the platform and app including installation and setup for the app and platform, and the use of new and old features.
  • Design and prepare FAQ documentation to include:
    • Basic troubleshooting
    • Requirements for app and platform
  • Design and prepare the documentation for linking with 3rd party platforms such as Facebook pages, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Marketplaces, Poslaju and more.
  • Assist to study product samples and liaise with the product team.
  • Assist in editing materials prepared by other team members.
  • Assist in building animation, graphs, illustrations, images for product libraries to increase user’s understanding.
  • Assist in collecting users feedback to update and improve content and products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, or Information Technology. 
  • At least 1 year of experience in doing technical documentation.
  • Excellent in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin is an added advantage. 
  • Results-driven and fast-paced with high initiative skills and the ability to work under pressure and multitasking. 
  • Able to explain concepts clearly. 
  • Strong written and verbal communications and experience working with content in multiple mediums. 
  • Strong experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment. 
  • A positive attitude, willing to jump in and tackle new challenges. 
  • Has ecommerce and/or digital marketing experience.

Salary:

  • RM2,300 – RM2,500
